Our 8-year-old dog has just completed the Board and Learn programme at The Dog Ranch and has come home a much calmer, happier and more relaxed lady. She had become very anxious lately, but thanks to the training, structure and socialisation she received at The Dog Ranch, she is now much more confident in herself and far more relaxed around situations that would previously have been triggers for her. Both Rhonda and Keith have been amazing — so friendly and wonderful to deal with. They kept us updated throughout our dog’s journey with them and sent us home with all the training, knowledge and tools we need to continue her training at home. 5 Stars without a doubt! My beagle cross is about 3yrs old now, a rescue who had been treated awfully as far as we could tell. Reactive and difficult to walk most days. Getting ready for walks was stressful and we always had to be watching out for dogs, cats, people, cars. After 3 weeks with Rhonda and Keith, hes a new dog. Same affectionate fun loving dog but now walks like a dream, on a loose leash past all of his former triggers, building recall like a pro and happy to go to his place when he needs a time out at home. Stress levels have plummeted for him and for us. The Dog Ranch are amazing and work so hard with every dog, caring for them like one of the pack. Keeping up the training at home now is an absolute joy! They also have a range of services, from online remote training to the 3week board and train. Go watch their success stories on instagram. Theres no spin. This is exactly what they do and they are goood! Cannot reccomend enough!

Bundy, our 8 month old terrier mix has recently returned from his 3 week boarding and training course at The Dog Ranch. He is so much calmer, less reactive, and more obedient now. We did feel slightly guilty dropping him off at the beginning of his boarding term, but there was no need for that guilt. From the regular updates of his progress and the Instagram stories it was clear that Bundy and the other resident & boarding dogs were very happy to be there. A genuine home from home. Rhonda & Keith were very easy to communicate with, always available and very knowledgeable. The 3 week boarding concluded with a comprehensive handover where we received our training to help us continue the excellent work of The Dog Ranch. We cannot recommend The Dog Ranch highly enough. Arne completed his training here and the difference in him was amazing. Keith and Rhonda were incredibly knowledgeable, caring and supportive throughout the entire process, and they took the time to help us understand how to continue the training at home. Arne has been home for two weeks now, and we continue to see the benefits of the training every day. He was so happy and well cared for during his stay. To be honest, I was afraid he wouldn't want to come home with all the dogs around him and having so much fun, but he settled back in straight away and was delighted to see us. It was clear he had been treated like one of their own. The support didn't stop when he came home either, which made a huge difference. Keith and Rhonda have been available to answer questions and offer advice whenever we needed it, helping us to maintain the training and consistency at home. We have already recommended The Dog Ranch to friends who have recently got new dogs because we genuinely believe it is one of the best investments you can make. We recently brought our 9 month old Labrador puppy Milo, to The Dog Ranch Hotel & Training and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The trainers were so patient, knowledgeable, and welcoming from the very beginning. Milo has grown so much in confidence and obedience in such a short time, and we’ve noticed a huge improvement in his behaviour at home and on walks. We had a fabulous experience with The Dog Ranch for our 7-month-old puppy’s 3-week board and train program. Throughout her stay, we received regular texts and videos showing her progress, which gave us so much confidence and peace of mind. She learned an incredible amount during her time there, and the handoff when we picked her up was extremely thorough and helpful. She’s now been home for 3 weeks and has retained her training so well. Of course, you need to continue reinforcing it at home, but the program gave her such a strong foundation to build from. We would absolutely recommend The Dog Ranch to anyone considering training for their dog, and we definitely plan to do follow-on training with them in the future!

I can’t thank The Dog Ranch and Rhonda enough for everything they have done for us and our furry baby, Ollie. It’s never easy putting your trust in people you don’t know, and leaving your dog for three weeks is especially tough. But to say the results from the three-week training were incredible is an understatement. Ollie is a fun-loving, energetic, playful dog, but he was very difficult to walk on a lead and his energy could be overwhelming at times. We just didn’t know how to manage it properly. Since coming home, he is like a different dog — still the same happy, loving Ollie, but now so much more manageable and a joy to walk. The transformation has been amazing to see. Rhonda’s care, professionalism, and genuine love for the dogs really shine through in what she does. We felt completely at ease knowing Ollie was in such good hands. We are so grateful and would highly recommend The Dog Ranch to anyone considering training for their dog. Thank you again for everything!

We got our Cavachon Ted back after 3 weeks board and training and what Rhonda & Keith have though Ted is amazing he is much calmer he is following and listening to commands and overall making have him so much more enjoyable, I would highly recommend the dog ranch to anyone struggling with there puppy or dog it has really helped us.

We sent Leonardo for the 3 week training, he had alot of anxiety and was on medication to try manage...now he is free from medication and is slowly learning how to play. We would be lost without Rhonda & Keith. He is slow to learn but the change in just that short stay has been absolutely amazing, hes a completely different dog. Forever Grateful they helped him. It is continous work from us which Rhonda is so helpful with follow ups and any questions we have. Leonardo is finally able to be calm and enjoy playing.

Kayne had 3 weeks of lodge and learn. His obedience has improved without a doubt and my own confidence has returned. I have a clear training plan to continue with his progress knowing that Rhonda and Keith are always there for a wise word. Highly recommend the Dog Ranch

Couldn’t recommend Rhonda and Keith enough! They have changed my crazy cocker spaniel for the better by turning him into a calm dog and a pleasure to be around. Our 10 month old crazy cocker spaniel Enzo is not long home from his 3 week lodge & learn program & the progress is amazing. Enzo is now a much more calm, confident & obedient dog. We left our beautiful golden retriever Coco in the care of Rhonda and Keith for three nights in November. I contacted Rhonda after seeing her posts on social media, she rang me that day and talked me through everything and put my mind at ease straight away. Rhonda greeted us upon arrival and we chatted about Cocos care, she knew my kids were apprehensive about leaving Coco for the first time, we hadn’t be away from Coco for two hours before Rhonda sent pictures of her settled & content among Rhonda’s own dogs, this meant a lot to me and our kids. We saw lots of updates-pictures and videos of Coco on their social media pages and we collected a very happy and content pup after her three night stay at the Dog Ranch. Would not hesitate to leave Coco in the care of Rhonda and Keith again I know she would be in very good and caring hands.

We couldn't rate the Dog Ranch highly enough. We handed over our excitable, jumpy puppy, Bruno,three weeks ago, and today received a calm, obedient, and polite dog. Rhonda was a pleasure to deal with and so very knowledgeable. The offer of being able to link with them further after collection is also much appreciated! Highly recommended!

Keith and Rhonda did an excellent job with our reactive dog after we truly thought nothing would help her. Their patience, knowledge, and dedication made such a difference. Our 5 month Labrador puppy is home from her 3 week lodge & learn program. WOW, what a calm puppy we have. We couldn’t have mastered the work they have done in a year!!. It has made our home life so much easier, as our pup has the baseline and we can continue this training during the day. We loved seeing the pictures of all the doggies playing each day and daily updates. It was a real home from home. Rhonda & Keith are TRUE professionals and this is the BEST investment you can make for your dog!!!

I was a bit apprehensive about leaving my four-month-old puppy for a week but Rhonda and Keith made the whole experience as stress-free as possible. It was lovely to see everyday videos and photos and my pup seemed very happy to socialise with other dogs. I wouldn't have second thoughts about booking him there again.

We sent our 8 month old mixed breed pup to the lodge and learn. We knew she was a great dog and still just a baby but her chaotic energy and lack of focus was making her frustrated with us and us frustrated with her and we just couldn’t seem to get through to her with the various training methods we’d tried (and there was lots) plus both myself and my husband had to get to get back to work so we were going to have less time to train. We were a little sceptical about how much the 3 weeks would work for her, but wow! Shes now home 2 weeks and we noticed an immediate change which has lasted. Lodge and learn helped her blossom into the best version of her self, still a crazy puppy who loves life but now will listen to us with intent and focus when we ask her to calm down or stop chewing something, she’s just a pleasure now and we are really enjoying the benefits of her lodge and learn :) highly highly highly recommend

This is the first time we have ever used a kennel. We chose the dog ranch as it has very high reviews and after speaking to Rhonda on the phone and viewing instagram posts we believed the dog ranch was the right place to send our 5 month old sheepadoodle for a 6 night stay. We arrived to drop Ralph of on the 2nd of September. Rhonda greeted us. We brought with us a bag of gain kibble, a lunch box of cooked chicken and tins of tuna for toppers, as Ralph is a slow eater toppers encourage him to eat quicker. Rhonda discussed her dislike to kibble and encouraged other alternatives. We took the advice on board. We walked towards the house with Ralph. Rhonda then took Ralph did not invite us in and didn't ask questions about his feeding. I then explained there was a cup measure in the bag (level cup weighing 110grams of kibble) and that Ralph was to jave a cup and a half mixed with some chicken or tuna 3 times a day, making that 4 and half cups per day. Rhonda said Ralph will settle soon and she would send videos and pictures. We drove away feeling uneasy about not seeing inside but Rhonda came across confident and reassuring so we anxiously waited by the phone until pictures and videos were sent showing Ralph playing and meeting Rhonda's dogs. We felt immediately more relaxed. We continued to get updates on Ralph through instagram and we communicated through WhatsApp. On the third I messaged 'is he eating well for you?' I got back 'he's eating great' We arrived back on the 8th of September to collect Ralph. Rhonda brought Ralph out from behind the fence. Ralph looked smaller to us, seemed very tired and was unsteady on his feet. Rhonda commented straight away and said he's been very active and is probably very tired it might take him some time to get back to his bouncy self. When I seen Ralph turn to the side I noticed his stomach was sunk. I then asked Rhonda 'did he eat for yous?' Which she replied he ate everything, he got on great. As Ralph has a thick coat we took a good look at him when we got him home. Ralph was skin on bone, bumping into things and fell walking up steps. We were so upset. We messaged Rhonda and explained that Ralph has lost alot of weight and asked if Ralph definitely ate all his meals, that it's ok if he didn't we just needed to know how to manage Ralph for the next few days with feeding and walking. (As we are aware dogs can struggle to eat in kennels) Rhonda wrote back that he ate everything that we should double up his food and probably take him off kibble as there were no good nutrients from kibble and that she had fed him extra due to all the activities Ralph was doing. I then wrote back what portion sizes was he getting witj yourselves and il double them up. Rhonda wrote back 2 scoops (I assumed the scoops were the cup measure I left in the bag) 3 times a day and some days 4 scoops in the evening if he didn't have his middle feed mixed with either chicken or tuna and some treats in between. 440grams in 1 sitting for a 5 month old sheepadoodle??? And some days missing his middle feed?? Alarm bells rang. Thank god we meassured how much kibble was in the bag we dropped of as we have heard some horror kennel stories. We weighed the bag again. It worked out that Ralph had eaten no more than 3 cups a day. Ralph was down and entire meal per day for 6 days and Rhonda just lied about it. Why?. It made us think if she lied about this what else was being hidden?? Ralph is still weak but being loved and cared for at home. We are upset and heartbroken that Ralph was a meal down a day while being so active, it pains me to think if he'd been left much longer. Needless to say Ralph will not be returning to the dog ranch.

My dog Milo spent three weeks at the Dog Ranch Hotel in Cavan for training and boarding, and the results have been remarkable. He has returned home noticeably more obedient, patient, and a lot more calm. Keith and Rhonda showed outstanding professionalism, care, and dedication throughout his stay, and I always felt reassured that he was in excellent hands. We had such a wonderful experience with The Dog Ranch, and we can’t thank Rhonda and Keith enough. I was a little nervous leaving our young dog for a couple of weeks, especially as it was the first time he’d been away from us for that long – even though I already knew The Dog Ranch had a fantastic reputation. From the very start, the communication was amazing and put me at ease. I received regular pictures and videos that showed him happy, playing, and socialising. It really made the time apart feel less daunting and reassured me that he was being cared for like a member of their own family. Rhonda and Keith cared for our German Shepherd puppy, Kali, for 5 weeks, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. She came back calmer, friendlier, and more confident — truly a different puppy! I only have one world for Keith and Rhonda and that is WOW! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to Floki. From the moment we booked in, we felt comfortable and confident that Floki would be in good hands. The communication between us from booking to collecting Floki after 3 weeks was flawless and we got constant updates on how his training was going, including photos and videos. We collected Floki after 3 weeks, with us having moved into a brand new house between that time, and already, he is walking confidently on the lead, knowing that he cannot jump on the couch, learning not to eat remote controls and shoes and being settled into a new routine. When I was researching training for Floki, what blew me away was a video on instagram of 10 dogs, sitting down with treats in front of them, and not one of them eating that treat until they had the command. I said to my husband, if Floki comes back like that , it will have all been worth it. During the 3 week stay, I received that video of Floki being on of the 10, sitting there patiently, waiting for his command to eat his treat. He has also been able to eat with our other dog without having to feed them separately as he would want Odies food instead of his own. I don’t think I’ll ever trust anyone to take care of him again and we will definitely be back for boarding. Thank you both so much for helping us settle and train our Doberman. Siobhan and Darren 💙

We highly recommend This Dog Ranch Hotel & Training. We have been having some problems with our 7-year-old German Shepherd–Labrador cross. She hasn’t had much socialization with other dogs and suffers from separation anxiety. We decided to contact The Dog Ranch Hotel, and Rhonda was very helpful. We brought our dog, Marly to them, and she stayed there for three weeks. They took excellent care of her—we could tell, as Marly usually gets disoriented when she goes to other kennels. With Rhonda and Keith, however, she was very happy. We are very grateful for all their help and will continue training Marly using their tips and guidance.

A fantastic start for our pup! We sent our 14-week-old Staffordshire puppy to The Dog Ranch Hotel in Cavan for their Puppy Residential Training and socialising program — and the transformation has been amazing! She came back a much more obedient and calm pup. No more land-sharking or jumping all over people and other dogs — she’s now a joy to have around. I highly recommend this program to anyone with a new puppy. It’s truly the best way to give your dog the right foundation for life with you. Rhonda was incredibly helpful, not just during the stay but also afterwards — always happy to answer any follow-up questions. We’ll definitely be sending our pup back in the future, whether it’s for additional training or just a safe and comfortable place to stay when we can’t bring her along. When we are looking for a dog hotel for our poodles ,we find The Dog Ranch Hotel & Training on Facebook. Although it’s far away from my house, but I have no regrets about my choice. Dog Ranch Hotel which is a great , clean place and they also have a very professional training to my dogs for three weeks boarding and training. After three weeks training they have a big difference then before. They can control their behavior more and will follow our command. However, there are times when they still make mistakes, but I believe there is always room for improvement. I believe I did not make the wrong choice. This is an excellent place to recommend🥰.

Darcy had an amazing time at The Dog Ranch Hotel and Training. This is Blues third visit each have been long one's..I was,nervous leaving him anywhere but with Rhonda and hubby he's had a wonderful experience.. it's obvious this is their passion..The first time they had Blue for a month and they trained him as he had behaviours that needed work.. when I collected him with my own training session I really felt much more confident about carrying out the plan..This has,really helped me and my dog and Rhonda was,very helpful afterwards checking in etc . Or there when needed.. I know leaving Blue here he's so happy He was crying today when we left and when we arrived couldn't get through the door quick.enough. My fur babies have been in the incredibly loving hands of Rhonda and Keith since 2016. They provide without doubt , the best home from home experience for my dogs and the true test of its gold standard experience is when my dogs jump out of the car and straight into Keith. No looking back at me to see where I am. So they absolutely love going to The Dog Ranch. It’s a 5* from me and the fur babies 🐾❤️

Henry has stayed with Keith and Rhonda a couple of times now and is already booked in for his summer holiday. Prior to finding The Dog Ranch we had some horror kennel experiences.! We can now go away knowing not only is Henry in a safe, friendly environment mixed with other pouches all day but he is having the best time, which we can see on their insta updates.! We wouldn't leave our precious baby with anyone only Rhonda & Keith. They are exceptional with dogs. Scooter is a rescue with a few things wrong like anxiety, has trust issues with humans along with separation anxiety 😢. Rhonda explained the management of Scooter to us. The guys took Scooter for an over night stay and monitored his behaviour, and my god, I couldn't believe Scooter was able to interact with so many dogs and people he didn't know. There simply amazing, if I mention their names now, he gets so excited. Thank you, guys, so so much for everything. Scoots can't wait to see you in June 🦊😁

This place is amazing! You will not find more passionate or more professional dog people than Rhonda and Keith. The behavior training in the day care always leaves our boys better behaved, as well as nicely worn out! Overnight its the ultimate in doggie vacations with individual rooms, even little beds! all at the owners own home (and with their own large pack). Daily videos on Facebook let us see how our boys are getting on while we are away and remove any worry or guilt as we can see how much fun they are having. Could not recommend them more. We literally do not trust anyone else to care for our fur babies!

Our beagle Darcy is like a different dog ever since she first stayed with Rhonda & Keith. I make a 200km round trip any time she stays there and it's so worth it because she loves it! It's great to know she's enjoying herself and being looked after so well any time she stays there. Keep up the great work guys!

Riley loves going to The Dog Ranch, as soon as the car turns up the road towards it, she sits up and looks out the window. She has been going there since she was 5 months old, she's now 3 and it's her second home. Rhonda and Keith love all the dogs and are always there if you need any advice or help. We know that when she is at daycare or boarding, she is well looked after, happy and content.

My boys love the dog ranch. It's a home away from home where they have company all day. With the added advantage of getting to see photos of them while you are away so you know they are happy. I highly recommend.

The Dog Ranch is a must for your dog's, they get all the attention, care and love. Rhonda and Keith are marvellous with teaching and handling small and big dogs. Dandy loves coming to the Dog Ranch and he loves been pampered by Linda. Good luck and a lot off happy dogs!

Fantastic facility ,cant recommend highly enough. Rhonda and Keith offer a great service and their dog behavioural training is very effective. We often use their play and stay service along with the grooming for our dogs.

Ther aren't enough words to say how amazing The Dog Ranch is! As soon as i take the turn off the roundabout my dog my dog starts doing laps of the car! Rhonda and Keith are amazing, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Well Sammy is not long going to the Ranch but I could not get over the welcome we got when we arrived by Rhonda and I had so many questions about different things and she took her time to explain all to me. Sammy goes of no bother and so excited to see us when we come to pick him up in the evening and totally exhausted. The Dog Ranch is fantastic - our dog loves going to day camp and is made feel right at home on her doggie vacations there. Rhonda and Keith are forever helpful with advice and tips and we found their puppy training sessions invaluable. Highly recommended!!

There is huge comfort in leaving my dog at the Dog Ranch when I travel, she bounds in and while obviously delighted to see me when I return I am also under no illusions that she would happily stay longer! It's nice to know that she is content when I am away, and its easy to see that Keith and Rhonda love all of the dogs in their care. Highly highly recommend it for day care and boarding.

Millie gets so excited when she knows it's her "school" day - she can't get out of, the car fast enough! Thanks to Rhonda, Keith and Lynda my shy and nervous puppy has become a confident playful dog who can't wait to meet up with her doggie pals! Lynda's Pampering Palace is up there too, my elderly yorkie is never in better form than when she's been to Lynda for a pamper!! i can't recommend them highly enough.

There aren't enough stars to rate this place enough. It's absolutely fabulous. Keith and Rhonda have taught us so much about our dogs and dog care over the last 6 years or so. The dog ranch is amazing and our 4 dogs love it. Lynda in the grooming parlour is fantastic. Her calm, patient approach to grooming allows dogs to have a positive experience and really enjoy some pampering. I can not recommend this place high enough.

Rhonda and Keith provide exceptional service whenever our dogs go down there. The dogs are really happy when they go down there, where they get lots of exercise and TLC.
